  • Lending Library for local members only (Books, Journals, Audio & Video Tapes, CD's)

Diary Dates for 2010:
Support Group Meetings:
Greenacres Centre, 8 Rowland Avenue, West Wollongong at 10.30am. Opposite West Wollongong TAFE. No stairs. BYO lunch at 12 Noon. Guest speakers, workshops, sharing time, library, hobby talks, 5 min gentle stretching session and news of Group activities.

Aug 7th!!!
AGM, Bring & Buy Stall - all contributions welcome. Happy 21st Birthday to our Group! Smiling

Sept 4th
Guest Speaker: Ken Davis, Counsellor and Group member. Topic: Acceptance and Mindfulness.

Oct 2nd
Guest Speaker: Joan Wright - from the Australian Academy of Tai Chi.

Nov 6th
Speaker: Winsome - Workshop on Medications Management with ME/CFS and/or FM. Bring & Buy Stall - all contributions welcome / Christmas buying. Craft, sewing, handmade cards, pot plants, slice etc.

Dec 4th
Christmas Party / Raffle draw - please bring a small plate of your favourite Christmas food.

No Meeting in January.

For the comfort of all members with allergic reactions to strong fragrances, please refrain from wearing perfume, after shave or other strongly scented products. Meetings are a no smoking zone.

A gold coin to running expenses would be greatly appreciated.

- Thirroul (previously Woonona) NEW VENUE: NOW Cafe Mia at Thirroul District Community Centre & Library foyer. Lawrence Hargrave Drive (parking at rear, no stairs) 1 st of the month morning tea at 10am prior to 10.30am start on Aug 4, Sept 1, Oct 6, Nov 3, Dec 1.

- Wollongong:
NEW VENUE: NOW The Educated Palate
Rear of 87 Lower Crown Street, (facing Civic Plaza) 3rd Wed of the month 2.00pm Aug 18 (21st Birthday Celebration), Sept 15, Oct 20, Nov 17, Dec 22. No meeting Jan.

BYO Picnic Lunch:
Belmore Basin Park, 12.00 on 23 October 2010. All Welcome. Come along and help us celebrate National Carers'Week. Meet in the park near the fish shop. Bring a hat!
